 H3C WAK522 wireless product is an ultra-gigabit high-speed wireless access device (hereinafter referred to as AP) based on 802.11ac wave2 MU-MIMO technology independently developed by New H3C Technology Co., Ltd. (H3C) for the SMB market of small and medium-sized enterprises. Stream, the access rate of the whole machine is 1267Mbps, of which the 5G radio frequency rate is ≥867Mbps, and the 2.4G rate is ≥400Mbps. It supports the latest 802.11ac wave2 standard. WAK522 is designed with a built-in antenna, and the installation method is flexible. It is suitable for wall-mounted, ceiling-mounted and other installations.

Support intelligent load balancing

WAK522 product supports complex balancing method according to the number of access users and traffic. When the wireless controller finds that the load of the wireless access device exceeds the set threshold, the wireless controller will automatically calculate the surrounding area of the user for the newly connected user. The WAK522 wireless access point is only suitable for indoor installation and supports the following two installation methods:
·     Wall-mounted installation
·     Ceiling installation

1. Wall-mounted installation

When the device is wall-mounted, you need to select the two mounting holes on the mounting kit as shown in the figure below.

 Wall (ceiling) mounting kits are divided into AP mounting and wall (ceiling) mounting, AP mounting is fixed to AP, and wall (ceiling) mounting is fixed to ceiling or wall.

Please use M4 × 7mm pan head screws to fix the AP mounting hardware to the AP to avoid equipment damage caused by incorrect use of screws.

 
The installation steps of the wall-mounted installation method are as follows:
(1) Align the positioning protrusions of the AP mounting piece with the positioning holes on the back of the AP, and tighten the M4 x 7mm pan head screws to fix the AP mounting piece to the AP.

(2) Attach the wall-mounted (ceiling) mounting piece to the wall, and mark the positions of the holes where the screws need to be installed.

(3) Use an impact drill to drill two holes with a diameter of 6.0 mm at the marked places. The drilled holes correspond to the mounting holes on the mounting kit, as shown in the figure below.

(4) Insert the expansion coil into the drilled hole on the wall, and tap one end of the expansion coil with a rubber hammer until all the expansion coil is knocked into the wall, as shown in the figure below.

(5) Align the mounting holes of the wall-mounted (ceiling) mounting parts with the expansion screw holes, pass the screws through the corresponding mounting holes, adjust the position of the mounting kit, and tighten the screws, as shown in the figure below.

(6) As shown in Figure 3-8, align the AP with the wall-mounted (ceiling) mounting bracket, and then rotate it clockwise to the vertical position. When you hear a "pop", the AP has been locked and the installation is complete. .

2. Ceiling installation

 
·The      ceiling installation method requires that the thickness of the ceiling must be less than 18mm, and the ceiling can bear at least 5kg of weight.
If it is a material with weak strength such as      gypsum ceiling, this installation method is not recommended. If this installation method must be adopted due to environmental restrictions, please add a layer of better strength plate under the nut to ensure that the equipment is firmly installed .

 
The installation steps of the ceiling installation method are as follows:
(1) Align the positioning protrusions of the AP mounting parts with the positioning holes on the back of the AP, and tighten the M4 × 7mm pan head screws to fix the AP mounting parts to the AP, as shown in Figure 3-3.
(2) Attach the wall-mounted (ceiling) mounting piece to the ceiling, mark the position of the hole where the screw needs to be installed, and then drill two holes with a diameter of 5.0mm, and the drilled holes correspond to the mounting holes on the mounting kit .

(3) Pass the pan head screws through the mounting holes on the wall (ceiling) mounting and the drilling holes on the ceiling, and use nuts and washers to tighten the bolts at the other end of the ceiling to secure the wall (ceiling) mounting on the ceiling.

(4) Align the AP with the wall-mounted (ceiling) mounting bracket, and then rotate it clockwise to the vertical position. When you hear a "pop", it means that the AP has been locked and the installation is complete. For details, please refer to 1. (6) of the wall-mounted installation method .
